The Commonwealth Bariatric Center (CBC) is a comprehensive bariatric center providing new hope for people who qualify for weight loss surgery — often a last resort for individuals who are severely obese. The CBC is a healthcare service provided by Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. Our center — which has one of the most experienced bariatric teams in the Southeast — offers a variety of innovative surgeries. Dr. Derek Weiss and Dr. John Oldham have led the way in Kentucky by performing several “firsts.” They are now joined by bariatric surgeon and LAP-BAND(R) patient, Dr. John Mobley.
