The focus of our work is the study of pathogens that are medically relevant or can be used as a model for studying mechanisms of infection. To the scientific questions that we process include: What makes bacteria to pathogens? Why are some organisms susceptible to or resistant against infectious diseases? Understanding these mechanisms will help to combat infectious diseases with new drugs and vaccines.
