Michael Preston Worley -- Works of Art Original oil paintings, collages and drawings by a contemporary Chicago artist, whose eclectic, representational style borders on surrealism, with a heavy dose of art-historical precedents. Subject matter ranges from classical mythology, nudes and allegory, to modern history, social commentary and political satire. After receiving his Ph.D. in art history, Worley began painting his own works and has been exhibiting at juried art fairs during the past two years.
